- Rodney McMullen, Kroger’s CEO has said that the country’s largest supermarket operator currently has around 20,000 job openings
- Kroger has announced on September 14 that they have also teamed with Instacart to increase their ability to fulfill online grocery orders
Orbital Marine Power to lead new $31 million energy project
- A firm behind the “world’s most powerful tidal turbine” named Orbital Marine Power has said in a statement on September 13 that their turbine can generate up to 2 megawatts
- Also included in their statement, they said that the 31.5 million project would receive a 24 million grant from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 program
