New Gas price record set in California for the second day in a row
- On November 15, California gas prices reached $4.682 a gallon which is a new record for the stat for a second day in a row, says the American Automobile Association
- The price for Nov. 15 is up 6/10 of a cent higher than the Nov. 14 average reported by AAA, which had previously broken its all-time record of $4.671 previously set in October 2012
Oroville announces itself as a “Constitutional Republic” as it stands against vaccine mandates
- A city council for Oroville, California voted to declare a city a “Constitutional republic City” to protect its citizens’ rights in light of federal and state mandates
- The Mayor of Oroville, Scott Thomson, said, “What we are doing is protecting our citizens’ rights as much as we can on the local level.”
- Early in November, Thomson requested a measure that opted the city out of enforcing any executive orders that were issued by the state or the federal government
Potential pharmacy strike in Northern California causes Kaiser to announce a deal
- The pharmacists’ union has come to a deal with Kaiser Permanente in order to avoid a strike that had been planned to take effect on November 15
- The agreement was reached at 1:00 AM (PST) and puts Kaiser into a 3-year contract where they are to increase wages, provide better health and retirement benefits, and bonus opportunities
