• Last year with Proposition 208 that raised taxes on the wealthy in favor of more school funding are now aimed to block new tax cuts in the state of Arizona
• Currently, the group has 90 days to collect 120,000 signatures which are required to stop the tax cuts until voters can get involved on November 2022
• The tax cuts would cut almost $2 billion annually from the state and benefit wealthy individuals and businesses 

• With President Joe Biden’s new Infrastructure plan, Climate activist have come out and pressed for emphasis of tending to climate change in the new plan
• This renewed urgency comes after the bipartisan infrastructure plan had removed parts of President Biden’s “key” climate initiatives
