• So far, California has been the first and only state to mandate vaccinations or coronavirus testing for eligible children in order to attend in-person classes in both private and public schools

Northern California health clinic gave 14 children incorrect COVID vaccine dose

• A health clinic in Northern California mistakenly gave 14 children the wrong dose when administering COVID-19 vaccines 
• In a statement, Sutter health said that the 14 children were given an “incorrect amount” of diluent, which is used to dilute the concentrated form of the COVID vaccine

California attorney says Amazon failed to notify workers on COVID cases in workplace

• On November 15, California Attorney General Rob Bonta said that Amazon has failed to notify workers and authorities about how many COVId-19 cases it had detected in its workplaces
• In a settlement, Amazon agreed to pay $500,000 towards “further enforcement of California’s consumer protection laws”, said Bonta in the press release

• The California Attorney General, Rob Bonta, has warned residents in El Dorado County to look out for and report price gouging during the wildfire evacuation orders
• Increasing the cost of essential supplies such as food, housing, and gas is illegal if it’s priced at higher than 10% of its original cost prior to the state of emergency
