Investigators believe that the spill took place underwater about 5 miles off the coast of Huntington Beach and about 126,000 gallons of oil have leaked into the ocean

Near the end of September 2021, Governor Gavin Newsom announced a new vaccine mandate for schoolchildren over 12 years old and eligible for the vaccine
These kids will be required by the mandate to receive the vaccine in order to attend class and there will be no testing alternative

On October 18, many parents across the state of California planned to keep their children home from school to protest against the new COVID-19 vaccine mandate
On social media, flyers have gone around calling for “sit-outs” and “walkouts” to demonstrate against the first vaccine mandate in the country
This mandate requires students to get vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to attend school in person once the vaccines get full approval for their age group
