<ul><li>On August 4, distributors and gun manufacturers for the United States have been sued by the Mexican government and they argue that the commercial practices of the businesses have led to bloodshed in Mexico</li><li>The Mexican government argues that the companies know that their practices contribute to the trafficking of guns to Mexico and facilitate it</li><li>According to the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the government estimates that 70 percent of the weapons trafficked in Mexico come from the United States</li></ul>
