Palantir reports 49% revenue growth for its first quarter

  • Palantir, the maker of software and analytics tools for the defense industry and large corporations, reported 49% revenue growth for its first quarter, beating Wall Street estimates
  • It also came in line with earnings estimates

Pfizer scientist says mRNA technology used for Covid vaccines could create ‘more potent’ seasonal flu shots

Job openings moved above 8 million in March, a new high

  • Job openings surged to a record high in March, with more than 8 million postings
  • Hiring saw a much smaller increase, indicating a continued problem with matching workers to open positions
  • As “help wanted” jumped from February by 597,000, or 8%, to 8.12 million, hires rose just 215,000, or 3.7%, to slightly more than 6 million
