Yesterday (Wednesday), Southern California Authorities report that they have taken upwards of 16 tons worth of marijuana at an estimated worth of $1.19 billion
The bust had begun on the 8th of June last month and there has been a total of 22 felony arrests, 19 arrests from water theft enforcement, and 109 misdemeanor arrests
In regards to the amount of marijuana plants that were taken by authorities, almost 375,000 plants and 33,480 pounds of harvested marijuana were seized

Along with many other teenagers, Myles Kawashima at age 7 was believed to be changing seats when the boat hit a rough wave and was thrown into the water
The teen was able to be dragged out of the water and receive CPR from authorities but it was unsuccessful and he passed away on the way to the hospital

The resident supposedly shot the bear out of self-defense after it had attacked them inside their home
The day after (Friday) the bear was discovered and had been “gravely wounded” according to the sheriff’s office
An investigation of the event has determined that there was no criminal activity during the event

At around 7:30 pm, a shooting occurred near the Pike Outlets outside a Hooters restaurant where two adults and a teen have been wounded
Currently detectives are investigating the shooting as it could be gang-related and 2 have been arrested
