Orbital Marine Power to lead new $31 million energy project

• A firm behind the “world’s most powerful tidal turbine” named Orbital Marine Power has said in a statement on September 13 that their turbine can generate up to 2 megawatts
• Also included in their statement, they said that the 31.5 million project would receive a 24 million grant from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 program

• From January 2021 to June 2021, about 123 million American households were formed but only 7 million new single-family homes were built during the time
• Single-family home development has been at an all-time low since 1995

Toy sales for the first half of 2021 are partially fueled by skates, scooters, and skateboards

• Toy sales in the US have risen by 19 percent bringing total sales to $11 billion during the first half of 2021
• Over the 6 month period, outdoor and sports toys have seen the largest increase reaching $2.9 billion in sales or 11% from 2020
