Free school Lunch program is launched in California
- Coming this fall, California will be launching a new Free lunch meal program for its 6.2 million students
- By taking advantage of the surplus budget revenue, state lawmakers are able to launch the largest free student lunch meal program in the country
- Supporters of the plan have said that this will end the stigma for students in low income famalies who alrady recieve free lunch
Southern California home prices reach another all-time high
- Last Month in June, Southern California real estate prices reached another peak of $680,000, which goes above the previous record of $667,000 in May
- From June 2020 to June 2021, data shows a drastic 225% increase in prices following the spike in consumer demand
