Indoor activities like restaurants and gyms now require proof of vaccination in San Francisco
- On August 12, San Francisco city representatives announced that they will now require proof of vaccination against COVID-19 for restaurants, bars, and gyms
- This measure will take effect next Friday, but businesses will have two months to verify employees’ vaccination status “to preserve jobs while giving time for compliance”
- The new mandate currently does not apply to people ineligible for vaccines, including kids under 12
