Young boy attacked by a mountain lion near Calabasas

  • On August 26, a mountain lion was killed after it attacked and injured a 5-year-old boy in his front yard near Calabasas
  • The animal weighed 65-pounds; the injuries were to the boy’s neck, head, and upper torso
  • The attack occurred around 10:45 am, according to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife
