US resident is first to have federal charges for fraudulent vaccination cards
- A California woman named Juli A. Mazi from Napa who works as a homeopathic doctor has become the first US resident to face federal charges for fake Covid-19 immunization records and fraudulent coronavirus vaccine cards
- Today (Wednesday), Juli was arrested and charged with one count of wire fraud and one count of false statements related to health care matters
New stimulus checks for California have been approved and coming soon
- On Monday, The Governor of California, Gavin Newsom signed a budget deal worth $100 billion that gives state residents a singular cash payment
- Under this second stimulus for California, individuals who have incomes between $30,000 and $75,000 will qualify for a $600 stimulus check
- Qualifying families who have children along with undocumented families will receive another $500 on top of the initial $600
- The stimulus checks are scheduled to be sent out to qualifying individuals near the beginning of September
