California parents of 5 children die due to COVID-19 complications
- A couple named Daniel and Davy Macias from Yucaipa, California has died due to COVID-19 and left behind 5 children, including their newborn daughter who remains unnamed
- According to Davy’s sister-in-law, Terri Serey Davy was 37 and Daniel was 39 with their children at ages 7, 5, 3. 2, and 3 weeks old
- Davy Macias was a nurse at Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center, and Daniel Macias was a teacher at Jehue Middle School in Colton, California
California disaster declaration approved by President Biden ahead of his Sacramento visit
- On September 12, President Joe Biden has approved California’s disaster declaration and will travel to Sacramento today, September 13
- When he arrives, President Biden will survey the damage from recent wildfires, according to the White House on September 12
