  • On September 8, a Canadian man was sentenced o 140 months in federal prison for conspiring to launder millions of dollars stolen in many wire and bank fraud schemes
  • The money launderer is a 36-year-old man named Ghaleb Alaumary from Mississauga, Ontario holding dual citizenship in the U.S. and Canada
  • In addition to his sentence, Ghaleb was ordered to pay more than $30 million in restitution to victims of his schemes
