Florida limits mandates for COVID vaccine and challenges Biden mandate on businesses
- Ron DeSantis, the Governor of Florida, signed legislation on November 18 that limits vaccine mandates in the state
- The new legislation also requires the governor to construct a plan to take the state out of having to comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration
- During a press conference on November 18, the governor said the goal of the legislation is to protect people from losing their jobs if they choose not to get vaccinated
