Ford is expanding their pickup truck lineup with their new small pickup called Maverick

  • To expand their very profitable pickup franchise, Ford will come out with a new small pickup named Maverick
  • This truck will be compact and smaller than the Ford F-150 full size pickup and the middle sized Ford Ranger
  • This pickup is currently being produced at Ford’s Hermosillo plant in Mexico along with the all new Ford bronco Sport SUV

United Airlines to purchase airplanes from a new startup called Boom Supersonic

  • United Airlines is going to buy 15 ultrafast planes from Boom Supersonic and at some point 35 more in the future
  • The startup company’s first commercial supersonic jet, the Overture has not been certified or built yet
  • In 2029 Boom Supersonic is targeting the start of passenger service and this plane has the potential at flying at a speed of Mach 1.7 which would reduce flight times
