Wisconsin Governor signs state Budget including $2B Tax Cut
- Tony Evers, the Governor of Wisconsin has sing the Republican written state budget today (Thursday) which includes an income tax cut of $2 billion
- The state budget when effective will also decrease property taxes for wonders of an average of $100 next year
- Schools in Wisconsin will also receive another $100 million in federal funds to use as needed
State regulators can now impose operating condition on farms in Wisconsin
- Wisconsin regulators have been told by the state Supreme Court that they may impose operating conditions on factory farms
- The state regulators have also been told that they may decide whether they can grant permits based on the total environmental impacts of high capacity wells
- Since 2015, Environmental Activists in the state have fought to have better conditions on factory farms
