Inflation may cut workers pay by 2% despite wage increases
- In June, the average hourly wages increased by 3.6% in comparison to a year prior, and despite this growth, the average worker’s pay has been cut by 2% due to inflation
- From 2020, food prices have risen 2.4% and gasoline prices has risen 45% as well
