Alaska and American Airlines to end pay protections for unvaccinated staff with Covid
- Alaska Air and American Airlines have announced that they will end pay protections for unvaccinated workers who contract or come in contact with Covid
- The change starts October 1 and unvaccinated workers will have to use their sick time or medical leave if they miss work because of Covid
Aerospace rocket launch by Firefly explodes after liftoff at Vandenberg Space Force Base
- On September 2, Firefly Aerospace launched a rocket named the Alpha rocket from the central California coast at Vandenberg Space Force Base
- Shortly after 2.5 minutes of flight, Firefly reported that an “anomaly” had occurred during the first-stage ascent which led to the explosion of the rocket
