Siemens Gamesa claims world-first in blade recycling
- Wind Turbine Giant Siemens Gamesa has claimed their recyclable blades are “the world’s first recyclable wind turbine blades ready for commercial offshore use
- The company has also reported that they will work with RWE a German utility company to install and pilot the blades at the Kaskasi offshore wind farm in the North Sea as soon as 2022
Plant-based chicken substitute by Impossible foods launched in US restaurants
- On September 7, Impossible Foods meatless chicken nuggets debuted in restaurants and will come to supermarkets by the end of September
- After difficulty receiving regulatory approval for its use of heme in the European Union and China, the company skipped using the ingredient in its chicken alternative
Hyundai plans to convert all of its commercial vehicle models to hydrogen fuel cells by 2028
- By 2028, the Hyundai Motor Group has plans to advance hydrogen fuel cell technology to all of its commercial vehicle models
- On the fuel-cell front, Hyundai said its next-generation system would come in 100-kilowatt and 200-kilowatt versions
