Vaccine Mandate to be discussed by Idaho lawmakers

New requirement for Maine schools for lead testing in water

  • Due to new state law, Maine schools are now required to test drinking water for lead this year 
  • According to the previous law, only schools that provided their own water through wells were required to go through regular testing 
  • The new lead testing program is scheduled to begin on October 1, according to the Portland Press Herald, and will run until the end of May 2022
