- On August 9, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has said that the state will appeal a ruling from a federal judge allowing Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings to require Miami passengers to show proof of vaccination
- Norwegian has said Florida’s law would prevent the company from ensuring at least 95% of passengers were vaccinated so it could comply with health regulations
McDonald’s franchise terms to be investigated by Italian antitrust agency
- AGCM, Italy’s antitrust authority will soon investigate McDonald’s terms and conditions in their agreements with franchise operators following many complaints
- If the results of the investigation find the company guilty of breaching Italian antitrust rules, the chain could risk as much as 10% of global turnover
