- This hiker was a 56 year old man from San Jose and he was with two others when he had lost his balance
- One of his hiking companions, a 45 year old California woman also fell when attempting to grab the man but she survived after a 30 feet fall

- Lawmakers in California are contemplating on passing legislation that would require that clinics, hospitals, and nursing facilities to pay medical professionals $10,000 in bonuses for their work during the pandemic
