Global price of natural gas continues to spike but U.S. may not be as harshly impacted
- The prices of power and natural gas in Asia and Europe have reached the highest recorded, with U.S. prices having doubled in 2021
- According to the head of global commodities research at Bank of America, Merrill Lynch says, “The U.S. is much more insulated from this global energy trend than the rest of the world”
U.S. COVID-19 cases now below 100,000 per day as winter approaches
- Since the United States’ recent peak of around 172,500 average daily infections on September 13, cases have steadily declined
- Currently, around 69,000 Americans are receiving Covid-related care in hospitals which is a large decrease from almost 104,000 hospitalized on September 1
Elon Musk’s SpaceX has a new valuation of more than $100 billion
- Following a secondary share sale, the valuation of SpaceX has gone past $100 Billion
- Recently, SpaceX made an agreement with new and existing investors to sell up to $755 million in company stock from insiders at $560 a share
- Back in February 2021, SpaceX’s valuation was at$74 billion and is now at $100.3 billion
